Building and floor

The Auto (vehicle) department is on the 2nd floor of the downtown building. Special plates can only be picked up from this main office, 2nd floor Auto Dept.

Good to know

Mailed-in payments must be a money order, cashier's check, or personal check payable to Harris County, and checks must list a US driver's license, ID card, or passport number.
